Tonight I am angrily stabbing at paperwork that asks me to “check one: male or female.” The people I’ve talked to with the company so far have been cool about it, used the right name and asked no questions, but that doesn’t make having to answer a question regarding my gender any less aggravating. I wonder what they’d say if I add my own option. “Check one: male or female or other.”
